Cycling is just another method of trying to stay healthy. Personally, I like cycling because I like cycling. When I am on that saddle, I feel comfort, enjoy, satisfy. So I cycle when ever I got free time.
Cycling can help build up you muscle especially you quadriceps and hamstrings. It can also help strengththen you mid section. But maybe the most important, it can help improve you breathing and enhance your endurance.
To middle age man like me, cycling help with all the above while avoiding injuries from impact. So, cycling is a low impact exercises.
I ride with family or friend. But without them, I still ride. I ride during the day and I ride during the night too. I ride the road and I ride off road too.
So, why I ride single speed bicycle? Simple. I want variaty. I ride road bike, I also ride mountain bike. I ride muti-speed bicycle, I also ride single speed bike. As long as it is a ride, I am enjoying it!
